Solving a Problem

The “problems” that we encounter in our professional lives are often hidden opportunities to innovate or improve the work we do.  Think about a problem you encountered professionally. How did you first identify the problem?  How did you plan to innovate to resolve the problem? What was the eventual impact of your solution?

Next, write a unified essay in which you discuss the process you used to develop an innovative solution to a problem.  Be sure to include how you identified the problem and how you worked to resolve it.  What was the most important result of your innovation?

Writing Guidelines:

1. Do not use bullet points, graphics, tables, or charts.

2. Do not include any confidential or proprietary information from current or past employers.

3. Please limit your response to no more than 5,000 words.
