Maternal mortality in USA

Description See attached word doc for instructions Imagine you are a health policy adviser for a legislative or regulatory entity who was just asked to research a pressing health policy issue, draft a five page memorandum highlighting the political and policy issues impacting the topic, and develop a five page piece of legislation or regulation to address the issue. Assigned Groups will engage in the development of a proposed policy by drafting a memo and either creating a mock legislation or regulation on a current health policy issue impacting complex health systems. Each team will be assigned a topic by the instructor. The team is encouraged to be creative and to utilize interesting learning tools (e.g. videos, informative readings, flipcharts, infographics or any other audio/visual aids) to present the information and assist in facilitating the class discussion. Points will be deducted for going over or under the page limit.
