 The Assessment must be submitted in the form of a SWOT grid for analysis and a Strategic Formulation Map to demonstrate a student’s ability to move from SWOT identification to strategic formulation – be succinct, and keep criteria descriptions to under 10-words. The objective is to use environmental scanning to correctly identify SWOT criteria that apply to Castlegar Sculpturewalk Society and to list in point form the identified criteria (within the SWOT grid). Students must accurately identify a minimum of 10 criteria in each quadrant category, point form entry is encouraged, i.e. 10 words or less per identified criteria. Maximize HELPFUL Minimize HARMFUL Strength (internal) Weakness (internal) Opportunity (external) Threats (external) SW = Internal (inside the organization) OT = External (outside the organization The structure of the Strategic Formulation Map is a simple four-column format, not essay form.
