Each member should be about halfway done with their book. Each individual will upload a 1-page, 11-12pt font, double-spaced (no name/front matter necessary) paperwhere they: 1) Share their progress in their chosen book; 2) Provide a reflection on the discussion. 

 -Prior to starting your book, what type of understanding did you have about the publichealth topic(s) discussed throughout? How has your understanding grown so far? -What has been your favorite, or most informative, part of the book so far? Why?

 -What part of the book has been most ‘disturbing’/grabs your attention (as discussed in class) to you so far? Why? What questions do you have that you hope get answered by the end of the book?

 -So far, what feelings has this book evoked for you? Why does this matter?

-How do these feelings relate to ‘disturbance’ (as has been discussed in class) in publichealth matters?

 -What do you think the author’s purpose was in writing the book? What ideas was he or shetrying to get across?

 -If you could hear this same story from another person’s point of view, who would youchoose? Why? How might their perspective impact the reader?

-If you could have a conversation with the author, what would you like to discuss with them?Why?

 -Conveying information about public health topics in a way that’s understandable andenjoyable to read for non-experts can be a challenge. In what ways do you feel the publichealth topic in your book has been explained so as to eliminate ‘expert blindness’? How hasthis been beneficial for you? How might it be beneficial for others? Conversely, if you feelthis has not been done well, what suggestions might you provide to make it easier for othersto understand the issues with the public health topic in your book?
