- For each type of media, identify two specific examples that have had a cultural impact and explain the impact. For example, “Schoolhouse Rock, a series of short cartoons with memorable songs that taught history, math and English, debuted in 1973. For the first generation raised fully on television, these songs became a key part of early education and helped strengthen the drive for other educational programming at the time like Sesame Street, Zoom and Electric Company. We see their continuing effects in programming today like Paw Patrol which teaches social and knowledge-based skills.“
