Divide the class into pairs or small groups. 2. Give each pair/group a set of scenario cards, each describing a circumstance where one continuous activity is interrupted by another.3. Example scenarios:- “You were watching a movie when the power went out.”- “She was cooking dinner when the phone rang.”- “They were playing soccer when it started to rain.”Instructions:Each pair/group selects one scenario card.Students create a short sketch based on their event, making careful to incorporate dialogue using the past continuous interrupted structure. For example: “I was watching a movie when the power went out.”Encourage inventiveness. Students might add facts and context to make their skit more engaging.Perform the skits.
